Your pet, our passion!
Welcome
When our facility was originally built in 2001, Dr. Amy Bairnsfather was an associate veterinarian. In November 2014, she fulfilled her dream to become the owner and continues her passion to practice veterinary medicine. She believes preventive care through client education of proper nutrition, exercise, training, socialization, mental stimulation, routine vaccinations, physical examinations, parasite prevention and dental care, as well as early diagnosis through routine diagnostics, are the keys to a long, happy life for your four-legged family members and a healthy human-animal bond.
Services
What We Can Offer?
Pet Wellness
Examinations and bloodwork are recommended at least annually, but preferably semi-annually, which would be roughly the equivalent of a person being examined every 7 years.
Vaccinations
Vaccinations are recommended annually to help prevent severely debilitating and sometimes deadly diseases. Rabies vaccine includes registration with Jefferson or Orleans parish when applicable.
Spay & Neuter
Spaying and neutering are recommended at 6 to 12 months of age, depending on the species and the breed, to help decrease the occurrence of many behavioral and medical problems.
