Bathing

If your dog is anything like most, they run for the hills when it’s bath time; but keeping your dog’s coat and skin clean is beneficial to everyone. We always brush your dog before bathing to remove any matted fur. Using lukewarm water and dog shampoo (human shampoo has a different pH and can irritate and even burn your dog’s delicate skin), we rinse all the soap out of your dog’s coat and then dry. His look, feel, and smells are fantastic!

Basic Dog Grooming

Our bathing staff will provide your pet with a quality pampering experience from the first puppy bath all the way through the senior years. They will personally greet you when you arrive for your appointment and will inquire about your preferences for your pet. Options include shampooing, blow dry, ear cleaning and plucking, deshedding, nail trim, and anal gland expression if needed.

Nail Trimming

Nail trimming is a very common grooming need for pets. Dogs have an area of nerves and blood vessels within their nail bed called the “quick.” Cutting the nail too short can cause a lot of bleeding and major discomfort to your pet. Having your pet’s nails trimmed by a professional is quick, easy, and saves you the struggle of doing it yourself.

Cat Grooming

The condition of your cat’s coat can tell you a lot about his or her health. All cats benefit from regular brushing. Brushing removes loose hairs, dead skin cells, parasites, debris, and dirt, as well as redistributes your cat’s natural skin oils. Daily brushing will also minimize the amount of hair that a cat will swallow during self-grooming, thus reducing the number of hairballs your cat may develop. Cats with long or curly coats may require daily brushing to keep them free of tangles or painful, matted hair. Cats with short hair coats may require less frequent brushing.
